I had every intention of cancelling after Manner of Death was through because other than that, I really don’t watch WeTV because I’m mostly into Japanese, Thai, Korean, Taiwanese and Vietnamese content and WeTV really don’t have that without a VPN. I signed up a little late so my quarterly would end just after the last ep of Manner of Death so that worked out perfectly. Anyway, for my payment plan, I signed up and paid for the quarterly pack so I didn’t have to worry about the month-to-month. Yeah, people can be jerks when it comes to posting spoilers without warning and that makes me sad, really. This means, English subtitles right away, better sound and quality and I wouldn’t have to wait a week to see the episodes and have it spoiled for me by some idiot on the internet.
This meant, I get two episodes the first week and is an episode ahead until the end. It’s only fair and I believe in Karma.Īnyway, now I have WeTV VIP.

Why? Because you know I love MaxTul plus I wanted to do the right thing and watch it legally.
When Manner of Death was released and not regionally locked, I signed up for WeTV VIP. I’m already depressed enough and most of these dramas are death and depression I don’t need in my life. To top it all off, most of the content coming out are like wuxia (and other genres like that) which are like a million episodes and in the end everyone dies. My issue with that is, it’s mostly Chinese content and I am not a fan of Chinese dramas ever since the country banned BL. Anyway, some of the content on WeTV are not regionally locked and can be watched without a VPN.
My VPN broke down and I’ve been hesitant in getting a new one. The thing is, to use WeTV to gain access to everything, international viewers require a VPN and most of them have a monthly subscription payment–so that’s an additional charge. Even with the VIP subscription, things are locked regionally and that becomes a whole other hassle. Everything we want to watch on WeTV becomes a massive hassle a good 90 percent of the time and after a while, it’s infuriating. As international fan of Asian dramas, there isn’t much on WeTV that I can watch with ease.
